Information this website collects

This static website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies or a native contact form. If this ever changes, this notice will be updated before those tools are enabled.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process basic technical request information (such as IP addresses and request logs) as part of delivering and securing the site, under its own privacy terms.

Information received when you contact Northline

If you contact Northline by email or book a call through the external scheduling page, the information you provide may include your name, contact details, hotel information, the content of your enquiry and scheduling preferences. It will be used to respond to your enquiry, discuss a potential engagement and maintain relevant business records.

Client and assessment information

If an assessment proceeds, the information required, secure transfer method, permitted uses, retention arrangements and any additional confidentiality terms should be agreed as part of the engagement. Northline will treat client information confidentially and use it for the agreed work.

Please do not send sensitive hotel performance data by ordinary email unless an appropriate method has been agreed.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the business. Currently these are Hostinger (email), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Cal.com (call scheduling). Each processes information under its own terms and privacy notice. If a secure file-transfer service is agreed for an assessment, it will be named in the engagement terms. Northline does not sell personal information.

Retention

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, to maintain relevant business records, or to meet applicable obligations. Specific retention arrangements for assessment data are agreed as part of each engagement, and provided data files are deleted on request after an engagement concludes.

Your questions and requests

You may contact Northline to ask how information about you is handled, or to request an appropriate correction or deletion. The response will depend on the information held and any applicable record-keeping requirements.

The booking buttons on this website link to Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Information you enter there is handled by Cal.com under its own terms and privacy notice.

Updates to this notice

This notice may be updated as the business, website and service-provider arrangements develop — for example, once the business registration is completed with the Icelandic authorities.
